Succession in British Family Firms: A DBA Completed from the Floor, not from a Year in Exile

Abstract

This DBA thesis produces a succession and related-party protocol for a British family firm, with methods and ethics for family interviews. Online supervision made the doctorate possible during operations. Optional Oxford residencies were used for archives, not as a hidden core. Oxfordium University should protect DBA standards. A practice doctorate for British owners is a regional mission if the viva remains a viva.
